FICCI to work on space technology
MoUs aim to strengthen India-Singapore cooperation
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) aims to enhance interaction between Indian and Singapore industry in Space and Satellite technology.
It would also facilitate the options to develop new sourcing, supply chain, and technology partners between the two countries under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) singed with Singapore Space and Technology Association (SSTA) during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Singapore 31 May to 2 June 2018.
Also, the FICCI Space delegation has discussed areas of collaboration with Singapore companies during the ‘Singapore – India Space Sector roundtable’.
FICCI said its second MoU with Singapore’s Food Industry Asia (FIA) focuses on initiatives which will enhance food trade between India and Singapore.
Elaborating, it said the MoU would help build capacities of Indian food businesses operators and share best practices on important issues such as regulatory changes, food safety, food quality, and nutrition.
To strengthen business relations and promote economic co-operation between enterprises in the two countries, FICCI also signed a renewal of the MoU with Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) to promote trade, investment, and business between the two countries. fii-news.com
